Energy Storage Systems– realizing efficiency from grid to battery

Renewables are the energy of the future and its efficient implementation together with Energy Storage Systems (ESS) are key enabler for the global energy transition. In this webinar, we will take a deep dive into the application of Commercial & Utility Battery Energy Storage Systems. Our expert Tobias Asshauer will give an overview about the ESS market for commercial and utility storage, highlighting its requirements and challenges related to power conversion, grid compliance, battery management and safety & security. Our expert Manuel Strugholtz will then explain the application architecture and PCS topologies, including an example of a typical 20 ft ESS container solution. Furthermore, we will present the fitting solutions from Infineon for Energy Storage Systems, which will help you to optimize your system's performance.

What you will learn:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of Commercial & Utility Battery Energy Storage Systems
  • Widespread system requirements and challenges related to power conversion, grid compliance, battery management and safety & security
  • The overall functional architecture of an energy storage system
  • How Infineon's solutions can help you optimize your system's performance
