ISO 9001-2008 Certified System

CHiL Semiconductor is committed to delivering the highest quality products possible to customers. Our Quality Management System is based on the strict requirements as specified by ISO 9001-2008 certification< guidelines. This system ensures that each of our products and services are managed, controlled and assured according to the highest global standards.

ISO 9000 is the logical choice for CHiL Semiconductor because of its global orientation and support by national standards bodies from more than 120 countries. We are committed to final certification of all CHiL Semiconductor processes in 2010, which are integrated into everything we do including:

  • Reliability engineering
  • Quality manuals and procedures
  • Training
  • Continuous quality improvement programs
  • Supplier certifications
  • Product change notifications and failure analysis requests

Change Management System

CHiL has implemented a Change Management System in order to control and report product and process changes to customers. CHiL’s approach to managing change focuses on five key areas:

  1. Classification
  2. Approval
  3. Qualification
  4. Implementation
  5. Customer Notification

Product Discontinuance

CHiL periodically reviews its product portfolio to ensure it maintains innovative, high performance and cost effective products. To this end, some products may be discontinued and subsequent replacement products recommended to customers. The decision to discontinue a product is made after thorough technical, financial, and logistical analysis within CHiL and with customers as required.
